Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By using this site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.
This site is published by Dr. Ali Al-Mur.
2. What this site is
This site is an archival and bibliographic reference. It provides records of Dr. Ali Al-Mur's books, research papers and articles, together with news, events, and a library of images, documents and videos.
Two design points are worth knowing:
- Books are listed as records only. A cover, title, description and publication details are shown — the site provides no download of any book in any format, and no online reader.
- Videos are hosted elsewhere. The site hosts no video files; it points to external platforms. Playing a video connects you to that platform under its own policies.
3. Content rights and citation
All rights to the content of this site are reserved to Dr. Ali Al-Mur.
Limited quotation is permitted, provided the source is clearly attributed — naming the author, the work and the encyclopedia, with a link to the page quoted.
Any broader non-commercial reuse requires a request through the Contact page and prior approval from Dr. Ali Al-Mur.
Commercial reuse requires prior permission.
4. Acceptable use
The site is open for reading, searching and scholarly use. You are asked not to:
- attempt to disrupt the site or gain unauthorised access to its systems;
- make heavy automated use that degrades the service for others;
- use the contact form for bulk messaging or abusive content.
5. External links
The site links to websites and platforms we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
6. Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care over the accuracy of what is published. Errors and omissions can occur, and we welcome corrections through the contact form. The service may be interrupted for maintenance or development.
The content of this site is encyclopedic, educational and documentary in nature. It is not medical, legal, professional or specialist advice, and should not be relied on as such.
7. Privacy
How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The courts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless the law requires otherwise.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date last updated appears at the foot of the page.
